Silly Andy and Jack's 2 week Check-Up

For some reason Andy loves putting this Curious George bucket on his head! This time he was using it while fishing for some fish for Jack.

Andy was also very happy to open his birthday presents from David, Jeri, Kylie, and Alec! He loved his little fishing net and was eager to take his bath yesterday to be able to use it!

He also enjoyed the books that he received! Thanks guys - and thank you for Jack's presents too! (Andy assisted in opening those as well :) )

Jack has had more and more alert times during the day. His most awake time is probably 5-7 pm right now, which is nice because Chris is home from work and can enjoy it too!

This morning, Jack had his 2 week check-up (a couple of days early). He looked great!! Here are his stats:

Weight: 8 lbs, 13 oz. - 57%

Height: 21.25" - 77%
He was back above his birth weight which is what they really want to see. And, as you can see he's pretty tall compared to other kids his age. He didn't cry at all at his check-up - but didn't get any shots so that's probably why. His next appointment will be at 2 months, and in that one he gets 5 shots. Ouch! After the appointment, it was time for a little snooze in his baby papasan chair. As you can see, he has a pacifier in his mouth. That's one difference between him and Andy - Andy never really liked pacifiers, but Jack loves them.

We hope everyone has a very happy Memorial Day weekend! Chris is flying out to California for a wedding that he is standing up in (wish I could be there too, Shaun and Meg!!). And Jack is looking forward to meeting his Uncle Ryan and Aunt Marianne for the first time when we head to Delafield today.
