Emmie's Fancy Hair-do

Andy was having fun with Emily's hair a couple of days ago... In his eyes, she can never have too many bows, and the more there are, the prettier Emily looks...

Here she is sporting 4 bows with pigtails... she's not too sure - "is it too much?" she wonders.

Holding big brother's hand after adding the 5th bow :)

I think she has a total of 6 in there... She's checking herself out in the mirror.

Beautiful!

Big smiles from the boys - they love chasing each other around the living room and then leaping onto the beanbag chair.

Valentines Week

It's been a quick week, with Andy having off school on Monday and Jack having no school at all this week. Andy's Valentines Day party was very fun, and I enjoyed helping out in his class during it. They played a few fun games and had some snacks.

Chris and I had a fancy dinner on Tuesday. (ha! Not really - it was Subway sandwiches to-go). Yesterday, Jack and Emily had fun at the Children's Museum, and today Andy really enjoyed his karate class. You could just see how excited he was during it - practically bouncing around and trying so hard!

Here's one picture from Valentine's Day - Emmie in red with some festive necklaces too!

Pushing around her baby stroller... She doesn't always put a baby in it - sometimes it's matchbox cars, yesterday I found a pair of Jack's underwear (freshly washed)

Playing peek-a-boo behind the couch

Looking like such a big girl! She loves to find books for me to read to her now. And she does great when she "roars" like a lion or bear when we find those animals in the book.

Out to pick up Andy from the bus this afternoon. It was above 40 and sunny, felt nice!

A picture of Jack looking handsome. It would have been a really great one if our sliding door didn't have kids' fingerprints all over it :)

Emily, looking pretty stylish

And my kindergarten Valentine, having fun watching a Peter Pan show tonight with Jack!

February Pictures and Updates

Here are some random pictures from the past few weeks. I took Emily and Jack to the Children's Museum a couple of weeks ago, and they had fun together. I still have to do a blog post on our trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum with Grandma and Grandpa Graham last month that the kids really, really enjoyed. And Grandma Reinsel came to visit last week and we had fun going to the Nature Preserve, to open-gym for gymnastics, and swimming. The boys really enjoyed showing off their new swimming skills to her.

The boys have finished their valentines for their classes. (yay!) Funny note: They are upstairs right now (yes, still awake at 9:00, at least there is only one day left of school this week for Andy) and they are arguing about a trip to Egypt. Jack REALLY wants to go to Egypt someday to see the pyramids and the "Stynx" as he calls it, so we told him that when he grows up, if he still wants to go, then we'd try to go with him. Well, Jack is mad at Andy because Andy does not want to go to Egypt, while Andy is trying to explain to Jack how far away it is and that he might not see mummies at the pyramids. It's tearing them apart! So, Chris just went upstairs and had Andy fall asleep in our room... so cute and funny, how seriously into Egypt Jack is (he is still talking about EVERYTHING he saw at the museum, especially the things that kind of frightened him. )

Anyways, most of these pics are of Emmie, because she's the one that smiles most for pictures for me. I can't believe she's almost 18 months. Crazy!

Emmie, looking a little lost

Doing some recycling

It's Spidergirl!

Some playdough fun. All 3 of them actually played together for quite awhile.

Emily, doing her own accessorizing :)

Smiles in the morning

Jack - with bed-head, usually he doesn't have a hair out of place :)
