Emily has been ready to be done with her crib for awhile... I was trying to keep her in there as long as possible, so that she would continue to take good naps for me. But, after many nights of her trying to sleep on Jack's bed, on the boys' floor, or in our bed - it was time for her to switch to a "big" girl bed. Well, it's just her crib converted to a toddler bed, but it made a big difference for her! She was excited to pick out everything she wanted to put on it (sheets, blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, books, etc.! She picked out a Winnie the Pooh quilt, because that is her favorite show, and every single one of her Minnie stuffed animals. (And about 10 other favorites)
Of course she had to test it out with some jumping first...
And here she is doing some fake sleeping (and snoring) for me so that I could get her picture.
She went to sleep fine in bed tonight and did not get out of bed once. She's so ready for it!!! We'll just have to see how naps go now.

Winter Weekend Fun
We had a nice time at home this weekend. The boys had indoor soccer on Saturday morning, and on Saturday afternoon we played a lot of legos. We had our friends, the Meylinks, over on Saturday night to watch the Packer game. It was so fun, but I think the adults were the only ones watching football. The kids were having way too much of a blast playing together :) Today, we had a snowball fight outside in the snow, watched an Indiana Jones movie, and the kids thought it was cool when I was taking pictures of them doing some crazy jumps (pictures below).
Andy wants to send this picture into the Lego Magazine (There is a photo contest every month - this month the kids were supposed to design a new way to put out fires - this is his Ultimate Fire Boat Squad) He's pretty sure he's getting chosen - he's an optimist like me ;)
Cuddly with Chase the Cheetah tonight
And here are their fun jumps. They thought they looked cool, because it looks like they are floating in mid-air (and I agree!) Who knew an ottoman and a tumbling mat combo would be this much fun?
I also got some cool videos of the kids tonight, something I don't do enough. They are so sweet... Here is everybody ready for some Indiana Jones :)
Although we are already ready for warmer weather, I have a feeling we'll be able to stay busy enough this winter! Soccer and swimming for the boys, and a new class at the Y for Emily. I've got to get my Christmas pictures organized and post those.
