It's a rough life!

Well, not really SO rough. Especially when you are Jack and have someone holding you practically 24-7 and attending to all of your needs! Or if you are Andy and have a lot of people who want to play with you as you mow the lawn, swim, blow bubbles, or just explore outside. We had a really nice Memorial Day weekend in Delafield. Jack got to meet his Uncle Ryan and Aunt Marianne for the first time, and he was on his best behavior the whole weekend. He barely cried once! He also met his Great Uncle Jim for the first time too. I actually got out to see a movie, since we had some great sitters (thanks mom and dad) and went to see Indiana Jones. We also played some softball and went for a hike at Lapham Peak. Chris had a good time in California at our friends' wedding, and is now traveling this week for work. He's ready to come home and spend some time with Jack and Andy this weekend.

Here are some pictures from the weekend. Jack loves getting held out in front of you, with your hand supporting his neck - He loves to be able to look up and around. This is the opposite of Andy, who would always cuddle up in a little ball against your chest (fondly called "hedgehog baby")

Here's Jack with his Aunt Marianne and Uncle Ryan.

Perhaps he was a little confused with how similar that his Uncle Brad and Ryan look - but he'll figure out who is who very quickly. Andy is right about 95% of the time now!

And here is Jack with his Great Uncle Jim...

Jack with his Grandma Graham - you can see that he's building his neck muscles and getting more control of his head!

Here's Andy with his Great Grandma Dickson.

And Jack with his Great Grandpa Dickson.

Andy was having a good time playing outside and fueling up his car, riding lawn mower, and mower. Mowers are a favorite thing now - yesterday we went to Home Depot so that he could sit on their various riding lawn mowers!

As you can see below - it's finally feeling more like late spring or summer! Everything is so nice and green now!

Andy fought going down for a nap so badly yesterday, I had to resort to the old tactic of taking him out for a walk. Ten minutes of crying, followed by 2 hours of good rest! Jack, who is always ready for a nap, decided to join him!

Jack wasn't too sure about this bath, hence the funny face.

Bailey was having fun running around with Andy and I while we explored some of the woods.

It was over 80 degrees on Monday, so Andy got in the baby pool for the first time this year and had some fun splashing around!

Andy likes holding Jack's hand and talking to him - asking him if he had a nice nap...

And, two last shots of our boys...
