Who is that handsome guy???

Well, Andy's hair was getting pretty shaggy by my standards, so we went yesterday to get his hair cut. He had a guy named Andrew cut his hair, which was pretty cool. Both Andrews did a great job - the hairdresser was fantastic, and my Andrew sat very still, which always helps. Here's a "before" picture:

And here are a few "after" pictures. It doesn't look that short in the front, but he used the clippers in the back and sides, which should be much cooler for Andy this summer!
Below are some cute pictures of Andy in the bathtub. Once you get him in the bath, it's impossible to get him to get out of it willingly!

Look at those blue eyes!
One of my favorites...

Jack time!

Jack is now a little over six weeks old and is doing really great! He is a pretty easy baby - he loves to look at Andy and is constantly entertained by him. Andy has been extremely patient and generous with Jack. He shares his toys and tries to make Jack happy when he is crying.Jack is a really good napper and takes nice long naps in the middle of the day - usually when we are out and about with Andy. He's been sleeping pretty well at night (slept 5 hours straight last night!) and now when he does get up to eat, he is very easy to put back to sleep, which is so nice. He's starting to smile, but we haven't caught a great smile on camera yet. I would guess within the next week we should be able to post that! But he smiles after he eats, especially in the morning when he is well rested. He also really likes taking baths, and gets nice and relaxed in them.

Here he is sitting next to Gus, Andy's bear.
He loves looking in the mirror at himself...
Here he is with his Great Grandma Dickson...
And here is Jack with his Great Grandpa Dickson...

He listens very intently when you talk to him:
And Jack loves to make eye contact with the person holding him (his Grandpa Graham here!)
He's definitely got a little bit of a tummy and some chubby cheeks! This t-shirt would not stay put and was constantly riding up on him!

Here he is with his Grandma Graham

Jack loves looking at his mobile in his crib.

Overall, he is a wonderful little boy!

Let's go to the Park!

So many parks to choose from! Andy's been going to the park just about every day this summer and he has gotten much more adventurous lately. He goes down all of the slides now and loves going "super fast" on the swings. He climbs to the top of the equipment and pretends that he is driving a rocket ship! Below are some pictures from a few of the parks that we have visited...

This park really has a "Rocket Ship!"

Andy climbed to the top with Chris and had fun "driving" and then sliding down the big slide.
Of course, driving the car or "mower" when he pretends that it is a lawn mower is still a favorite.
Future volleyball player?

Andy was standing inside this equipment taking our orders - he was pretending to make us some food - flipping burgers, cooking cookies, and making milkshakes.

Going super-fast on the swing. He'll start laughing and then say "That makes me laugh! I'm laughing!" It's really cute to hear it!

Going down a slide...
And going way up high to pretend to drive another rocket ship!
It's hard to keep track of all of the parks and which one he wants to go to :) Maybe we'll find a new one this weekend!

Door County Vacation in June

Last week we headed to Door County for a week to the house that my parents rent every year. The weather wasn't the best every day (Wisconsin got a lot of storms last week!) but we did have a couple of sunny days and were able to find plenty to do every day. We went out to a couple of restaurants, but we were surprised by a few changes this year. One of our favorite restaurants, The Cookery, had a large fire a couple of weeks back so was closed for the season. Our other favorite, Diggers, had new owners and had undergone a menu and decor makeover. Still good food, but a little less casual and relaxed. I guess it's time for us to branch out and look for some new spots! Chris came up with us Saturday through Monday, but then had to get back to Neenah to go back to work. It's a good thing he went back when he did, because Bailey had a pretty rough time with all of the thunderstorms at our house.
Here's a picture of Jack just chilling out...
Andy and his Grandma Graham - kind of cloudy outside...
Here's Chris with a napping Jack.
Andy loved just going out into the garage and sitting on the riding lawn mower. I'd say he was out there for hours in total, pretending to ride it and to cut the grass.
On one of our sunny days, Andy swam in the inflatable pool that we brought to the house.
And here's Jack, hanging out in the shade on the picnic table next to the pool.
Cool Shades!
Andy saying good night to Jack.

And, trying to hold him a little bit. Andy always says "Too heavy, too big" whenever we put Jack in his lap, so he hasn't held him too much yet.

We had a great sunset on one of the nights we were there.

Andy was eating his lunch while listening to my iPod. I didn't even have any of his music on there - he was getting a kick out of it though! How many more years until he wants an iPod of his own?
We were trying to get both boys to look at the camera at the same time - this was the best we could get! Ready for the beach!
We were able to get to the beach on one of the last days up in Door County. Andy had to bring along his little spray bottle - he loves "cleaning" up cars, watering flowers, and trying to spray us!
Even though the water was only about 50 degrees, it didn't seem to bother Andy. He waded and splashed through the water quite a bit! My feet were numb by the time we were done!

Here we are eating out at Wilson's - one of our favorite places to go for ice cream.

There was a playground right next door to it, so after ice cream, Andy got to play on the equipment.

Going out to the edge of the water, and looking for boats with Grandpa Graham. Andy also liked throwing in rocks and sticks into the water. We also got a chance to feed some ducks.
What a fun, busy week! Of course, Jack found plenty of comfy places to sleep.
We got home on Saturday and were happy to be back in Neenah. Andy really missed Chris and Bailey (as did Jack and I too!). On Father's Day on Sunday, we went to the park and played for quite awhile. Andy had picked out a big Cookie Cake for Chris, so we were eating that all weekend! Andy wore a t-shirt that said I Love Dad - and whenever you asked him what his shirt said, he would say "I love daddy!" It was very cute!! Chris and I both got out for runs, sepearately of course. It was a really nice day outside - and we're looking forward to even more nice weather as the summer continues.
