Soccer for Andy

Andy had his first soccer practice of the season today. It's just a short program through the park & rec, but he did great! He is getting really good at kicking the ball where he wants it to go and he had fun playing a game called sharks and minnows where the sharks try to steal the ball away from the minnows. We played at the park after practice - Jack and Emily came to watch Andy too, so it was a fun family outing. We were lucky to have some nice weather today. Emily snoozed on daddy during the Badger game while Jack took his nap. Andy and I got outside for him to ride his bike down the street. Later in the evening, we grilled out for dinner, Jack and Emily both took baths, and Jack had fun reading books. It was a relaxing day.

This was funny - first Emily and I were sitting on the couch, then Andy decides to come sit next to us. Then Jack wedges himself in, but gets upset when Andy won't move out of the way so he has room to open his book. Andy stubbornly sat it out, and then Jack got mad when Chris asked them to smile :)



I think Emily loves napping in her carseat - she sleeps very soundly...
