The Kids won on Tuesday Evening

Yesterday evening was the first time that Chris and I felt totally outnumbered and overwhelmed by our 3 kids. During the day, they were wonderful. Andy had a great day at school where he was the superstar. Jack did awesome during storytime at his playgroup, and then all of the kids had fun at the park after picking Andy up from school. Jack napped during Andy's tumbling class, and then we all came home and had dinner. But, from 6-9 Emily was inconsolable for some reason... so she was extremely high maintenance. We put Jack to bed around 8... it took him until after 9 to fall asleep because for some reason he had tons of energy and was running around his room bothering Andy who was also trying to fall asleep when he went to bed at 8:15. Finally, we had Andy fall asleep in our room because Jack was being so loud and silly. Jack quieted down once he lost his audience...By 9:30 everything was quiet - Emily was asleep (and slept until 3:15 straight!), Andy was transferred back to his own bed, and Jack was sleeping peacefully. We're hoping tonight is a little bit easier though!
