Beautiful Day to Be Outside - Nature Preserve and Park

It was a beautiful September day today, so we took advantage of it and spent a lot of time outside. We all went for a hike at Buboltz Nature Preserve and had lots of fun. The boys have become some awesome hikers - they explored, climbed, and enjoyed the wildlife. Emily slept in the Baby Bjorn, so she got some fresh air too. Afterwards we stopped at a park just down the street that we had never been to before. Both boys LOVED it - especially playing tag with daddy all around the equipment. Who knows how many 70 degree sunny days we'll have yet this fall, so it was great to enjoy it as a family!

Andy and daddy on the pond's dock

Starting out on the hike!
Check out what we found next to the trail...
Andy got in close to look at him, but Jack was brave enough to touch the frog
Lately, Andy is the one that is happy to get his picture taken...
Looking out at the pond to the ducks
Me and the 3 kids... Wow, Emily's Baby Bjorn really has the reflectors on it - I didn't realize that :) A little tower that we climbed when we were done hiking... Jack and Andy ran up and down the ramps many times

Getting started at the park

Andy is really climbing the big-kid equipment now
Hanging on tight to the zipline
This was a pretty cool 4-person bouncer - it was parents vs. the boys
But then we had to even out the weight a bit...
I'm sure we'll be back at this park again soon :) No pictures of Emily at the park, because she spent the entire time sleeping in the stroller. Did I mention she sleeps a lot?
