I still have to do my Christmas posts, but wanted to get some of these pictures up before I tackle that project. One of the highlights of our wonderful Christmas week was all of the sledding we did, both in Delafield and Madison. We went 6 times in 1 week to 3 or 4 different hills. The biggest was Elver Park in Madison - awesome. The boys went down with Chris and I and loved it. On this smaller hill in Delafield, the boys could go solo, or even with each other!
In the tube, are Andy and Jack going down together....

Big smiles from both of them. The weather was perfect for sledding... 30 degrees and sunny.

Here's one with better lighting - but not quite as good smiles!

Once we got back to Neenah last week Wednesday, we started solids for Emily. Once a day she gets some rice cereal. The first couple of days she really didn't like it too much, but finally she stared opening her mouth and swallowing some of it - not just spitting it out...

Messy girl!

No big plans for New Year's Eve, but we did have chocolate fondue :) The boys made it until 10:00 which was pretty impressive.

On New Year's Day we cheered on the Badgers. We had a couple of friends over and all dressed in our Badger gear. It didn't help them out with a victory, but it was still a fun evening...

Emily was 4 months old on 12/23, but we waited until after the holidays for her well child doctor appointment. She checked out great today! She got 2 shots, which have tired her out today and made her a little grumpy... she was up in bed a little before 7 which is an hour earlier than usual. Everything looked great for her... here are her stats:
Weight: 16 pounds, 1 ounce (88%)
Height: 25 inches (70%)
Head Circ.: 41.9 cm (70%)
She had a bit of a growth spurt in height (jumped from 41% at 2 months to 70% at 4 months). The doctor loved her hair and her chubby cheeks :)

And she is officially using the jumperoo now. More sitting than jumping, but still having some fun in it.

Hopefully I'll get around to the rest of the Christmas pictures this week. Andy starts back to school tomorrow, so we'll be getting back into a routine. Chris and I are trying to run more in 2011... so far we've both done 3 days in a row on the treadmill. We'll see how long that resolution lasts!
