It's cold and SO windy here, so no parks for us today! It's Chris's birthday today and the boys were so excited to give him his presents that they wouldn't even let him eat breakfast first! I didn't get pictures, but each of the kids got him a dri-fit shirt for running. They each picked out their favorite color to give him. Andy chose light blue, Jack chose dark blue, and the boys chose green for Emily. This afternoon, the boys are excited to pick out a Dairy Queen Blizzard cake for daddy, and we're having pizza for dinner. Should be a fun night! I'll definitely get pictures of the 33 year old blowing out his candles - he may need a little help from the boys with that!
My parents stopped by in the morning to see Emily and Jack on the way up to Door County. It was great to visit with them quickly, especially on a low-key day that we didn't have anything planned.
This necklace from Hawaii is Emily's favorite accessory :) She loves walking around with it around her neck.
