We had an awesome trip to Menominee Park in Oshkosh today. It looked pretty nice outside when we woke up, so I decided to take the kids out for some spontaneous fun. We had never been to this park before, and were pleasantly surprised with all that there was to do. We started out at the big wooden playground, then went to the small zoo, then back to the playground, then the train ride (very fun, even for Emily! the boys loved the tunnel), the carousel, and the spinning amusement park ride. Throw in some yummy snacks, including slushies, and the boys had a very fun time. It was not busy at all, which was so nice. We were there for almost 4 hours. Then, all 3 kids napped on the way home - and Andy and Jack napped on the couch for another hour after that. A memorable day to kick off the summer season!
