Andy is 4 years old!

Andy turned 4 on Tuesday and had a great birthday celebration last Sunday. It was a busy day, starting with Easter Egg hunt and baskets at Grandma Graham's and then a Star Wars birthday celebration with over 20 people. Also that weekend, we went for a hike at Lapham Peak, played outside a lot, and had a successful rummage sale on Saturday. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Overall, Andy has really enjoyed his birthday week. He got tons of wonderful presents, got to be the birthday boy at preschool, and got a real big-boy bike on Tuesday, which he can already ride really well! Jack has also really been loving the warm weather outside :)

Tumbling Classes!

Both Andy and Jack were enrolled in their own Tumbling classes this winter/spring. They both had a great time with it, although Jack is definitely a little more free-spirited in class. He's not quite ready to listen to the teachers as they go through warm-ups and stretches. Andy did awesome in his park & rec class, but next I think I'll sign him up for lessons at the Y where Jack took them. I think he'd love the huge mats and trampolines there! It was definitely a nice way for the boys to get some exercise while the weather was still cold.

One of Jack's favorite things - climbing in the big foam cubes
Here he is running away while the rest of the class is warming up :)

It's a nice bouncy floor, Jack likes the feel of it on his feet.

Out of the foam cubes... Jack also liked the day that they used the parachute (I didn't have my camera that day) He also enjoys the big trampoline!
Here is Andy on his final day of his little tumbling class. The moms usually don't get to be in the class with the kids, but they do a special "finale" class on the last day. Andy was psyched for it!

Milwaukee Zoo Trip - March 12

Last Friday we went to the Milwaukee Zoo with Grandma Graham and Uncle Brad. Chris had to fly out of Milwaukee for a work trip on Thursday and Friday, so it worked out perfectly for the weekend. The zoo was great - not too cold and not too busy. The boys definitely had some favorite animals while we were there - I'm posting some pictures of those too.

Visiting with Great Grandma Dickson

Jack thought this picture was funny, with her hands on her head.

Jack walking with Grandma... Andy still gets a kick out of riding in the stroller at the zoo... I think one of these times I'm just going to not bring it at all. Jack likes to walk anyways.
Uncle Brad and Andy... Andy not wanting to walk with Jack at this point.
Cute Tiger cub
Cool Cheetahs

Jack in the milk truck. This used to be Andy's FAVORITE spot... but he's gotten a little old for it unfortunately.
Andy in front of the penguins - I was hoping to get a penguin swimming by behind him, but it didn't work.

Trip to the Park - March 15

On Monday this week we went to one of our favorite parks (O'Hauser) It has great play equipment and a fun hill for the boys to run up and down. We must have gone up and down the hill more than 20 times! And Jack also was proud that he could climb up the slide like Andy can. Jack was saying slide, more hill, run, ride, swing, bus, car, tricky, weeee!, and duck at the park! Andy is much more independent now at the playground - he's getting to be a great climber!
