The Countdown to Christmas is on!

It's December 1 and snowing for real here now. The kids are getting very excited for Christmas! Yesterday we made a countdown calendar, so the boys can X off each day in the morning. We also made a gingerbread house (from a kit) which was so much fun. I did the icing but the boys put all of the candy on there. It's still pretty much intact, except for a reindeer which Andy decided to eat for dessert yesterday :)

Emily was pretty upset last night, probably just overtired. Chris was the one with the magic touch to get her calmed down...

And, since Emily was awake at the mall today while the boys were in school, we got her picture taken with Santa. She was fine with sitting on his lap :)

We've got presents to wrap and cookies to make this week yet. Andy REALLY wants to shovel and throw snowballs outside... Maybe he can help shovel tonight when Chris gets home.
