We did a lot of running around today. Andy had a short day at school due to conferences. So, Emily, Jack and I got the grocery shopping done and then hung out at a kids' play area/coffee shop until it was time to pick him up.
Here we are at the Mom & Pop Shop. Jack loved the train table best.

Here's Emily patiently waiting for her bottle.

Jack ate an apple and then played more with the train table. (I had hot chocolate - yum! Tasted good on a chilly fall morning)

After picking up Andy, we went home and unpacked the groceries. The boys ate lunch, watched an Imagination Movers, and then we went back to Andy's school for his conferences. Basically it was just a short meeting with the teacher to discuss what his "starting" skills are for the school year. He's doing really well with writing his letters and I saw a very cute self portrait that he drew completely on his own. They save these papers and then compare them to the same project that they do again in May. Andy really likes school and plays well with the other kids. Sometimes he says "I can't" before even trying, which we have to work on. He also doesn't like singing during music time (unlike Jack) but they say he is paying attention and listening well during it. Jack doesn't have parent/teacher conferences yet - he'll start them next year. On the way home from school, we stopped at a park to play outside for 15 minutes until Emily woke up.
Here's Andy starting to explore the equipment

Showing off his favorite part of the park - the big rock he can climb on.

Jack climbing up (he decided to wear that coat today because it was just like Andy's - "we match!" he said)

Peeking out of the train

On an animal safari train

Jack wanted to try climbing the "spiderweb"

Good job Jack, hang on tight!

Here's Andy laughing about Jack's hat hair in the van :)

We got home around 2, I fed Emily, and then we played with her on the activity gym. If she's looking bigger to you, she definitely is. They had a baby scale at the Mom and Pop shop - she weighed 12lbs 5 oz with her clothes on!!! I'm very curious to see what she weighs next week officially at her doctoer's appt.

Look at that tummy...

She's starting to relax her clenched fists. She grabbed onto her little stuffed lamb today - probably by accident, but it's still good.

Some attention from her brothers...

Here she is checking out Jack

A tiny little smile

Jack saying cheese for me

And a bigger (slightly blurry) smile :)

Tomorrow we have nothing planned during the day, so we should be able to relax and just hang out :)
