Happy Valentine's Day!

We want to send Happy Valentine's Day wishes to everyone reading this post! Our day was not too exciting, but it was great for me to spend the day with the boys I love. (Chris, Andy, Jack, & Bailey!) We didn't even leave the house, but we did have some fun and also got some stuff done. Andy and Jack were comfy all day in red sweatpants. We played in the basement for awhile on the slide and playhouse, we watched some cartoons, we drew some pictures (Andy drew some great smiley faces - a first!), took good naps (Jack had 2 and Andy had 1), played with batman and spiderman guys, built some block towers, and cleaned up a few rooms in our house.

Here are a couple of pictures with me and my boys... Jack was so proud of himself to be driving his little car-bike! And Bailey was not to be left out, practically also sitting in my lap! With Jack looking at the camera in this one...
Jack's room got a minor makeover! We decided to move the twin bed that used to be in his room down to the basement. Now we have more space for his rocking chair and for the boys to play in his room.

Here's a view of the wall with the window. As a side note, the blue, green and yellow rug by the dresser was just sent to us from one of Chris's friends - a former co-worker. She made it herself and it goes perfectly in Jack's room! She also sent us a great giftbasket full of bread, jam, cookies (from Breadsmith - yum!), and a train set for Andy (which he was thrilled with!) It was a wonderful surprise to receive!
Another view of his crib... we just have to get the letters of his name hung up, and his room should be officially done!
Another reason for us moving the bed to the basement, is so that when people (especially Grandmas!) come to visit for a few days, they will have a place to sleep that does not include a waking baby at night. They also will have their own bathroom with shower, that does not include tons of bathtub toys all over the place :) Andy also said this bed is for Kari, Brad, Ryan, Marianne, and Sarah when they come to visit too! We really cleaned up the basement, reorganized and it seems tons bigger now! Play-zone!
So, 2 rooms done today, about 5 to do tomorrow. We probably won't get done, but it feels good to be getting organized and making progress!
Happy Valentine's Day!
