We celebrated Andy's birthday! Andy had a party with friends at Monkey Joe's that was SO much fun! All of the kids had a blast and it was a big success. I can't believe Andy is 6 now!
Pizza break!
Going down the slide with some friends
We had a really fun Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Reinsel's house. All of the kids found their own eggs and opened up their presents that had a matching sticker to the one in the eggs. Emily really liked her bunny ears :)
Andy received his yellow belt in Karate!! His first "belt graduation" - he was so proud and is working very hard in karate. (He starts t-ball this week and is excited for that too. It's going to be a busy last month of school!)
Jack is riding a bike with training wheels :)
Andy loves his new tag-a-long bike. He's gone on qutie a few rides with Chris and one with me. It's so fun to be able to go both far and fast with him.
Go Jack!
Jack has been a daredevil this spring - he loves jumping off of things.
Jack at Mom's Day celebration at his preschool. They sang some really cute songs, gave the moms their presents, and we had some yummy snacks. Jack looked so handsome - but changed out of his shirt right when we got to the car.
Emily at Mom's Day - getting a little antsy
Luckily they had some toys to entertain her.
And some bad news... our basement flooded last Thursday because our sump pump gave out. Yuck. Chris took out the carpet and pad on Thursday night after moving everything out, and now we have about 6 fans and 3 dehumidifiers going. At least it's covered under our insurance!
Andy got new playground equipment at his school. His fundraisers have been going towards it all year, and both he and Jack have loved playing on it!
Jack is taking another session of swim lessons. He really likes them and he even went under water a few times last week. that's a big step for him! Andy is also taking lessons, but missed last week due to our basement flooding issue. But today at open swim, Andy went down the big slide in the pool totally on his own. He was nervous the first time, but loved it and then went about 10 more times! Jack likes going down the slide with me and likes trying to go super fast.
Grandma came up to visit a couple of weeks ago. The kids loved it!
We went to open gymnastics... and Emily really showed off her tumbling skills
Here was Andy's birthday celebration on Friday on his birthday. Grandma Reinsel came to visit and we went to Texas Roadhouse (Andy's choice)
Those trick candles really got him!
Just being silly
In other news, Andy lost another tooth. (a bottom one that kind of fell out without warning at Home Depot, while we were buying another dehumidifier) Emily is starting to talk more and try to say new words, it's pretty cute! And Jack is really enjoying his Tumbling and swimming lessons. Jack and Andy continue to LOVE to play together. Jack was pretty sad when Andy went to his friend Logan's house on Saturday for a playdate, but Andy had a blast. We'll see if Jack and Andy continue to get along so well when they are around each other ALL the time during summer :) I ran the Door County Half Marathon on Saturday. It was a cool, rainy morning, but by race time it turned out to be beautiful. Mostly Sunny and 50 degree weather with a slight breeze. I beat my time from last year by 2 minutes and broke 1:50. So now, I'm taking a break from running for a bit and have to get a few bike rides in. Jack's birthday is coming up this week, he's very excited! (I still have to post pictures from the boys' combined birthday party with family last weekend) Hopefully I'll stay more on top of the blog as we get closer to summer.

Emily's hair does look so cute how you did it! Jack looks so nice in his "handsome" shirt at his program. And of course Andy is such a cute 6 year old now!!! Give them all a hug and kiss from me!!!
