Emily is going to be 15 months old next week! She has her well child visit at the doctor's next Wednesday, but I decided to take a few pictures of her this morning, since she was happy, with neat hair. Emily's much more opinionated than she was when she was 1. She gets mad when she doesn't get a toy that she wants (usually one that Andy or Jack is playing with), she laughs when she thinks something is funny, or just when other people are laughing, and she's so cuddly when she gets a little sleepy. She was awfully crabby last week when her gums were swollen due to molars coming in, but I think she's through the worst of it. This week she is in a much better mood! Even though she is taking down a lot of tree ornaments, she's doing less of getting into drawers and cabinets. Hopefully she is getting more amused by her toys as she gets a little bigger. Not too many words yet. "bababa" for dogs or cats, or pretty much any animal. "Dada" for daddy, "mama" for mommy or more, buh-buh for bye-bye. She's also starting to say words that sound like ball, Andy, all done, and hi. She's such a sweetie!
She's figured out how to get on chairs - and off of them safely. It makes me less nervous now that I know she won't be doing a faceplant to get down (at least not on purpose!)
She loves pretending to talk on the phone - she'll talk on cell phones and remote controls too.
