Outside Fun in the Heat

We've had some hot days recently, but are finding ways to still have fun outside. We all went to the Neenah Pool on Sunday afternoon. We didn't know how long we'd be able to stay because Emily can sometimes get a little tired of swimming. But she did great and all of the kids had fun swimming for almost 3 hours.

Happy girl! She sat in the shallow part some, but mostly Chris & I held her in the deeper areas while the boys played in the water.

Last night, we went to the Town of Menasha Night Out Rally - it's an event for families that encourages Community Safety. We got our free bike helmets, the boys played a lot in the bouncy slide & obstacle course, we got some Home Depot wooden projects to create at home, got two free pine trees, won some prizes in games, saw the fire trucks, helicopter & ambulance, ate a couple of bomb pops, and visited with friends. Very fun!
