The boys had off of school this week because it was spring break. We tried to get out and do some fun activities. We went to Delafield for two days, and went to the Milwaukee Zoo on Monday. (The only nice day of the week - and even then it was 40 something and cloudy) But the kids had a blast at the zoo - the aquarium house, bats, kids' barn, seals, and carousel were the big hits. It was fun for the boys to play with Grandma and Grandpa Graham and visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Dickson. The boys enjoyed watching Dancing with the Stars (funny how much Jack especially likes it!) We braved the weather for Jack's tumbling class on Tuesday afternoon, but then stayed home ALL day Wednesday when we got snow dumped on us. Yuck, we're already ready for it to melt!
On Thursday we went to the Children's Museum with friends and had a really good time. The boys really liked the art room this time. They painted pictures, played with magnets, and saw some awesome science demonstrations. Andy was very interested in the science - it was very cute. Jack loved being on the airplane and playing with the balls. And both of the boys went up into the treehouse on their own and played. Emily was so content at both the zoo and the museum all morning. She's at a very easy stage right now - loves riding in her stroller, naps when she gets sleepy, and doesn't even get too hungry all morning.
Today we just went to the grocery store in the morning. Then Chris came home to eat lunch and to play with the kids, which they loved. We didn't do anything else too exciting today but had fun :) It would have been nice to have some better weather, but I'm sure it will be coming sooner or later...
In the pictures you will see Emily trying on one of her swimsuits for the summer :) She looks so big in it!
