Weekend in Delafield

We had a weekend in Delafield to celebrate Jack's, Ryan's, and Brad's birthdays. Brad and Ryan were lucky to get to have a Backyardigans themed party :) Highlights of the weekend included lots of playtime outside with Ben and fun Aunts and Uncles! Andy loved frosting a little cake while my mom and I worked on the Pablo cake, at 10:00 at night on Friday! Chris and I enjoyed going to a movie (Robin Hood) with Brad and Karissa while my parents watched the kids. Andy and Jack played outside all evening, exploring the backyard. On Saturday, Jack LOVED eating his cake - he didn't want it cut into pieces, so he got to eat straight from the cake :) Everyone else wanted the ice cream cake anyways! Jack got some fun presents and then the kids broke open the pinata to find lots of fun little toys and treats. It was a great weekend!

This one's a little out of order, but you can really see how pregnant I am in this picture...

AT 10:00 at night on Friday, creating a beautifully frosted cake :) And enjoying much of the frosting himself, just taste-testing of course.

Beep-beep! Jack enjoyed some driving outside while waiting for people to arrive.

Dinner time! Look at those big boys at the kids' table! The corn on the cob was a favorite.

Pablo! It took lots of time to make - but Jack appreciated the effort I think. At least he recognized who it was right away.

All 3 birthday boys at the table.

Digging in!

Opening presents. The trucks had to be played with right away of course!
