Pumpkin Patch and Zoo time

Grandma and Grandpa Graham came up for a visit last weekend to help keep us entertained once Chris left for China on Saturday morning. We braved the VERY cold weather on Saturday and went out to a pumpkin patch. The boys had fun - Andy more than Jack (Jack did not really enjoy the cold) We did get lots of good pumpkins and Andy really loved climbing on the hay bale maze with Grandpa. I think he would have done it all day if we would have let him - especially if it had been warmer out! We also went for a hike on Sunday and took a trip to the zoo on Monday. Trying to squeeze in as much outdoor weather stuff as we can before winter!

Jack and I on the wagon ride out to get the pumpkins.

Grandma and Andy finding some Indian Corn. Andy liked getting "lost" in the field.
All bundled up, ready to head back!
Climbing on the hay bales. Andy would slide down them, run around in the maze and then climb back up on top of them.
Jack trying to have fun in the cold...

Grandma and Grandpa Graham came to watch Andy's last soccer game. He did pretty well, but was ready to get inside the warm van when practice was over. It had to be in the 30's with the wind chill easily...
When we were at the zoo, we saw lots of animals very close up. It wasn't that busy and the animals were posing for us... here's Jack a little too close for comfort! Andy refused to stand that close to the tiger - probably smart!

Riding the milk truck in the play area

Night-night!
Out for a hike - with some energy here. The big hills of this hike tired the boys out. They were ready to be carried after about a mile... too bad it was a 2.3 mile hike... they are only 3 and 1 though, so we'll cut them some slack :)
