Our little baby Jack (okay, we know he was never really LITTLE) is growing up so, so fast. In my last report, less than 2 weeks ago, Jack started to crawl. He is now going everywhere, very quickly, and also pulling himself up on whatever he can find (baby toys, stairs, furniture, bath tub, etc.) He seems more adventurous than Andy ever was, which makes me think we're going to have to keep a very close eye on him :) Andy is discovering that Jack can get a little too close for comfort sometimes! And Jack is enthralled with Bailey and just starts laughing whenever he crawls to him to say hi. Jack is saying Da da da a lot, and seems to be more when Chris is around, so we're counting it as his first word! Below are a bunch of random pictures from the last two weeks... just catching up!
One of Jack's favorite toys is his piano. He loves to pull himself up on it and play the music.

He's pretty sturdy when he's holding on with at least one hand - sometimes he plays with other toys while he is standing up there.

Jack knows where his toys are! And he can make a mess that almost rivals his big brother's!

Jack's sometimes mischievious, sometimes nervous smiles is when he sucks in his bottom lip...

Going for a ride on the doggy - Andy teaching Jack how to do it!

A mountain of stairs - those look like fun :)

One afternoon last week, Andy fell asleep on Chris's lap when he got home from work. That was around 4:30 - we couldn't wake him up and he slept all the way in until 6:30 the next morning! (he's been fighting his bedtime at night and was just exhausted we think)

Hmmm... Maybe not the best toy for Jack - but Jack loves Bailey's frisbees! (we try to keep them out of his mouth)

Jack riding the dog solo... you can see his upper tooth pretty well in this picture!

Hold on tight!

Ready for fun!

Chris traveled to Atlanta today and is staying until Wednesday. Unfortunately tonight was the night I discovered that Jack can easily pull himself up on his crib - in the below pictures you'll see that he's a little too tall for the mattress at the level it's at! Andy and I had to get the tools out and lower it so that he doesn't fall out of his crib when he stands up in the morning...

Tongue out in concentration...

Hey cutie :)

What a big boy - time to drop that mattress :)

Andy was testing out the crib at its new setting... great for jumping now

Andy was such a good helper tonight with Jack's crib! He tightened the bolts for me. In other Andy news, we're starting to work on the whole potty training thing. I won't go into details, but he's slowly getting the hang of it :)

I'm impressed that you took the crib apart to adjust it! I think I would have made due with the Pack 'n Play for a couple days 'til Dad got home =)
