Jack is standing on his own!

Jack has been working on his standing unassisted skills lately... a couple of weeks ago he could only stay up for 1-2 seconds, but now he can stand up for a very long time and is quite balanced. We're so proud of him - and he's so happy for himself too! Once he sits back down he claps his hands and laughs. How much longer until the first steps now?

And he's down!

Great job Jack!! Pretty soon you'll be running after your big brother :)

A couple of days home

Andy and Jack got some fun time with Grandma Graham last week when she came up to watch them for a couple of days. A good break from school and some nice and relaxing time at home!

Here's a picutre of a very happy Andy...

Enjoying some delicious fruit snacks - Batman shaped of course :)

Hamming it up for the camera...
This picture of Jack (with a messy hand from eating a sugar cookie) makes me realize that he really will be needing a haircut soon...

Andy fell asleep on the couch and had a great nap!
Jack is ready for a good work-out withthe big red ball - water in hand in case he gets thirsty!

Andy's Tumbling Class

Andy is taking a short 5-week tumbling class this spring and has been enjoying it - somewhat. He LOVES it when they get to play on the mats, do somersaults, walk on the balance beams and go through the tunnels. However, he does NOT love all of the warm up exercises and stretches before hand. He gets kind of pouty and refuses to do anything like walking on tiptoes, walking backwards, crawlling on the floor, etc. Oh well! At least he has fun during the second half, and soccer is coming up in a few weeks which I know he will love.

A visit to Grandma and Grandpa Graham

I'm catching up on posts from March! Andy, Jack, and I spent a fun weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Graham's while Chris worked on a paper for school and did a couple of home improvement projects. The boys had a great time and especially enjoyed getting outside a little bit.
Here's Jack playing Peek-a-boo over the couch.

Enjoying some fresh air - watching Andy run around in the snow!
Andy standing on a big stump!
Riding in the new jeep that Grandma and Grandpa got - Jack is looking at Andy, wondering if he's qualified to drive this thing.
Andy's driving, Jack is along for the ride, and I'm holding on to make sure that they don't go too out of control!
Zonked out on Grandpa's shoulder!
Jack on the bench - peeking over the back.
Andy used to love this little play-ATV, and now Jack is the perfect size for it :)
Driving the cozy coupe.
Andy got really good at driving the car, although sometimes he would space out and you'd have to yell at him to turn the wheel so he didn't go on the grass.
Grandma and Jack - baseball hat backwards, so cool!
