Halloween 2014

Halloween this year felt like a 2 week long party!  We had a Halloween party at SC Johnson that the kids had a lot of fun at.  They got to do trick or treating, pumpkin decorating, games, and cookie decorating there.  We also had a subdivision party, trick or treating in Downtown Delafield, and trick or treating in our subdivision.  Jack was Mario this year and he loved his costume (except for the mustache which got kind of itchy and hard to talk/eat with it on).  Andy was Jango Fett - his second year of Star Wars themed costumes.  He looked pretty tough.  And Emily had two costumes - a princess and a Butterfly Fairy.  Depending on the weather and her mood, she got to pick what she was during the 4 times she dressed up over the last couple of weeks.

Our trick or treating last night was freezing cold and windy, so the kids didn't last too long.  But we have plenty of candy of course :)  They had a great time carving pumpkins.  Andy designed his own to look scary and creepy.  Jack wanted Bowser from Super Mario, so I looked up that template.  And Emily wanted Minnie Mouse - again, we needed a template for that one!  And here are the pictures!

Poor Mario is stuck in jail :(

Before Trick or treating in downtown Delafield.

Emily was Rapunzel for her school Halloween Party.  (Grandpa got to come to that one because I was on Andy's field trip with him)
Pumpkin Guts!  Andy won't come near them, but Emily and Jack are big helpers.

trying to find some good candy to snack on!
