Pumpkin Patch Fun, Baby Milo, and More

October is going well and we are enjoying a lot of outdoor fall activities.  I ran the Colorama 5K, and Emily and Jack ran in the Smoky Bear Fun Run at Lapham Peak.  It was chilly and damp, but it was fun!  On that same Saturday, Andy had a soccer game and Chris got to see Andy score his first GOAL!  Andy was really excited!  I co-chaired the Dragon Dash at the kids' school (a 1 mile fun run/walk followed by a pasta dinner) and that went smoothly.  Glad to have it done, but I will be excited to help out again next year.  I think that Jack especially is enjoying running.  We are so excited to have Milo as a new nephew/cousin and have gotten to see him a couple of times already.  Emily had a great field trip to a pumpkin patch, she got to do a lot of fun activities.  The boys' had school conferences and are starting off their years very well at school.  Andy's favorite subject is reading and Jack's is math.  Funny story:  Jack's first grade teacher here in Muskego grew up in Neenah and graduated high school with Andy's 1st grade teacher from Neenah.  It's a small world!  Lastly, we visited our good friends from Neenah and enjoyed our 6th annual (I think)  trip to Cuff Farms for Pumpkin Patch fun.  So, pictures are out of order but here they are...

Emily, making her way out of the corn maze!
Hay ride to go get pumpkins!

 Finding gourds

 Enjoying the hay bale maze
 Giant LEAP!

 A caterpillar crawling on Emily
 Crazy kids!
 But cute kids :)
 Ready for the mini-train ride

Off to ballet, with rain boots
Us visiting Milo at the hospital.  Emily was eager to hold him, Jack is ok with keeping his distance, and Andy thought he was super cute.

Emily wanted to jump in a huge pile of leaves.  Unfortunately (or fortunuately) we don't have many leaves to rake.  But we made a big enough pile for a little fun :)

 Watching the puppet show

 Down the giant slide
Enjoying the park on a beautiful fall day
