Jack is 1!

Jack turned 1 on Monday! He is getting so big and quickly turning from a baby into a little toddler. Here are some things about Jack :)

• At his 1 year appointment yesterday Jack checked out great - he is 25 lb 4 oz (83%), 31 inches (85%) and head circumference is 47.5cm (81%). He's big, but nicely proportioned! He was talking and smiling away at the doctor's office, until he had to get his 4 shots :( But he recovered nicely and slept well last night.
• Jack is saying Mama, Dada, Night Night, Andy, and waving hi & good bye. I think he may also be saying dog too, but I'm not positive.
• He's cruising while holding onto furniture, standing on his own, and starting to take 1 or 2 steps towards us. Definitely not walking yet, but he's getting closer! I do believe he is the world's fastest crawler though!
• Jack likes to play catch with balls, play with Andy's toys, play outside in the sand table, and go for runs in the jogger stroller. He loves tormenting Bailey (pulling his hair) and trying to get into mischief (climbing up stairs, playing in Bailey's water, putting his hand in the potty, finding things to put in his mouth, etc!)
• Jack has 8 teeth (4 on top 4 on the bottom) and has already gotten 1 haircut. We'll be getting another one before his pictures are taken!
• Jack is full of smiles and loves to be carried and jumped! He likes to have books read to him, but really doesn't just sit still in your lap for very long. He needs to move!
• He is a great eater and really not picky at all. He loves lasagna, peas, mashed potatoes, banana bread, yogurt, diced peaches, and many other foods. He's starting to drink well from his sippy cup and we are going to try to transition him off of his bottle soon.
