Happy 3rd Birthday Andy!

Today is Andy's 3rd birthday! We had a wonderful day. He and I went out to lunch together and then picked out his ice cream cake that he will be bringing to school tomorrow. Then, we picked up Jack from school and hung out at home. Andy watched Finding Nemo and played with his birthday presents. He and Jack enjoyed birthday cupcakes together in the evening and then we finished the night off with a bath! Today was more of a low-key birthday celebration as his big Batman birthday party was on Saturday. I have lots of those pictures to post, plus some Easter pics, but those may have to wait a few days - I still have to upload them to my computer.

Happy Birthday to Batman Andy - 3 candles on the cupcake.
All smiles today :)
We sang happy birthday together, he blew out the candles, and now it's time to eat the cupcake!
Of course, all of the frosting gets eaten off first!Jack got a little highlight of what is to come in 1 month for him - we couldn't leave him out and not let him have a cupcake too! "Hmmmm... I'm supposed to do what with this?" he wonders..
The blue stuff is tasty :)
Time to pick it up and dive on in!
The easiest way to clean up after blue frosting...Bath time...
Nice and clean - this picture was taken around 7 pm - About right when he was born 3 years ago!
And here are some notes on our big boy - so I can reference for his scrapbook once I finally get caught up with it! Andy is such a wonderful little boy - he makes us laugh and smile every day! He is a cuddler and is always telling us how much he loves us (mommy, daddy, Jack). He loves to play make-believe and is very good at telling stories. He loves pretending to be different superheroes (Batman, Sandtroopers, Dash from the Incredibles and Superman to name a few) He is very proud to be a big brother and happily shows Jack how to do things. He gives the best hugs and is also a very good bedtime staller. (one more book, a drink of milk, need to go potty, my cough is keeping me from sleeping, are just a few of his excuses!) He is 100% potty trained and then came about VERY quickly a few months ago. Andy loves playing outside at the park, blowing bubbles, and going swimming (although his favorite part of that is standing in the water and playing with toys) He loves going on trips to visit family and he is great in the car. He keeps himself entertained very well. He is a great talker and is a very good boy at school. He's starting to draw smiley faces and can recognize most letters. He's starting to sing more songs too. Sometimes he seems a lot older than he actually is. He actually very rarely has meltdowns and those usually happen when he's extremely over tired. His favorite foods now include: french fries, rice a roni, quesadillas, breadsticks or rolls, bean n bacon soup, corn and peas, pudding, and anything chocolate. He's a terrible breakfast eater - hopefully we can work on that! He also didn't love the snow this winter - but was getting more accustomed to it.
Happy Birthday Andybear!
